A fragrant medium-bodied wine, undeniably aromatic, with aromas of plums and ripe cherries that we have come to know and love in 'Temp', with very faint hints of oak and dried herbs. A juicy, fleshy palate making it oh-so drinkable! Great drinking all year round and best drank young 2-3 years from release.

Tasting Notes

The 2023 vintage was relatively mild following a cooler growing season allowing greater fruit expression and perfume. We have retained the freshness and aromatic intensity of the grape, while allowing some evolution of the tannins for which it is famed. The wine oozes with aromas of plums, ripe cherries and soft spices that flow from nose to palate, where they are supported by pleasantly savoury, dry tannins.
