The longest-living of our Tempranillo wines wear the ‘Black Hinge’ label with pride. A wine made with gentle, uncomplicated winemaking. Hand-sourced from selected rows in our oldest block of Tempranillo where the soil is stony and the rows are located on the upper section of the ridge. Aged in French barrels for 14 months. 

Tasting Notes

It’s savoury and dry with distinctive gritty tannins that remind us of strong cocoa dark chocolate. It has intense flavours of red berries and spice, which echo and persist for a very long time. A wine made with gentle, uncomplicated winemaking. Aged in French barrels for 14 months.

Food Pairing
