Vintage 2016 followed an ideal growing season in the Barossa Valley, this vintage oozes spice, hints blackberry still, and a whiff of liquorice. It’s a rich, full flavoured, generous wine, but we also need to point out that the generosity is built on a frame of savoury, dense tannin. Aged for almost 10 years giving it a rich, gentle, leathery softness.
