Tasting Notes

Source: Entirely produced from vines grown in the Adelaide Hills. Pindarie vineyards on the Western Ridge of the Barossa Valley grow and produce fine red wines.  We therefore sourced premium fruit from the cooler climate appellation of Adelaide Hills to produce this classic white blend of two aromatic German grape varieties.

Winemaking: Blended after slowly fermenting with minimal intervention to preserve the natural acidity and flavours.

Cellaring: Now until 2015

Style: Pale green in colour, intense rose petals and florals dominate the aromas, very fresh and lively. There is underlying hints of citrus and lemons. The wine explodes in the mouth with lemony/limey flavours and crisp acidity. The mouth feel is very generous with a minerally finish which leaves the palate clean and refreshed. Absolutely delicious

Cuisine matching: We consider it complements most Asian style dishes with a hint of spice. Also, great as an aperitif.
